Chromatic Winter Exhibition

I was so busy lately that I couldn't post updates about exhibitions nor anything LOL!

Last February 27 I participated in an exhibition called "Invierno Cromatico" (Chromatic Winter), which was the inauguration of the gallery "Casa Encarnada" of La Romana (Spain).
The "Casa Encarnada" is a very ancient house that was, in the past, the city council. It was completely restored, and turned into a beautiful art gallery.

A bus took us all the artists at 10 AM. At 12 we arrived the gallery. It was wet paint, and they were still taking off the plastics for the inauguration. It was very fun to help a little to prepare the exhibition for the evening. Even the Culture Councilor helped to organize that all.

After that the bus came for us and we went to a touristic visit to Aspe, a close village. It was a rainy day, but the gray day remarked the stone monuments, and the beautiful architectures of Aspe. I still feel amazed by my country. In Spain you can breathe art in every corner. No matter where you go, there's always an architecture that leaves you open mouth. Those stone balconies with Gothic angels that seem to look at you...

We went to a ethnological museum, with antique machines for making wine. But the wine came later LOL!

Later we went for lunch. The restaurant had to place more tables to make space for us all, I still don't know how we were able to fit there. We ate a lot, we drank, we sung... I think our laughs can be heard at the opposite side of the street.

After this we went back to the "Casa Encarnada" because it was the inauguration. The maintenance team had left the room all ready, nothing to do with how it was by the morning. The politicians and our president, Consuelo Giner, inaugurated the "Casa Encarnada".

There were so many people that I feared that someone may knock over an sculpture or a painting.

After this, we went back home.

Once in our town, Jordi (my husband) and me went for a walk on the beach :)

It was a really nice day!
