Looking around, she discovers a basement where she frees, unintentionally, diabolic creatures.  The Caller  Director: Matthew Parkhill Screenwriter:  Sergio Casci Starring: Rachelle Lefevre, Stephen Moyer, Luis Guzman Genre: Supernatural Thriller Plot: A woman receives mysterious phone calls of a stranger and starts to feel fear even in her own house. The person that is calling her belongs to the past and is not from this world.  Rise of the Planet of the Apes Director: Rupert Wyatt Screenwriter:  Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa Starring:  James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, David Oyelowo, Andy Serkis Genre:  Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi Plot: Doctor Will works in the research of a cure for Alzheimer, a disease that affects his father. For this, he experiments with monkeys searching for something that may recover the brain activity. Will decides to take a chimpanzee home, one that shows a high level of intelligence and  has already been used for experiments.
